Painting the town “red” has a little bit of a different meaning this time of year.

When it comes to attire, the other 11 months it’s black, black, black…then December hits, & BOOM! Red clothing everywhere you look! And make no mistake, I am totally victim of that seasonal trend.

This year for Christmas Eve, Mama Kerr & I are headed to see “Book of Mormon” at the Winspear Opera House before heading out to see our extended family, and I think this dress is gonna be just perfect for all the festivities. I broke this dress in while I was in Paris by wearing it to the opening night of the opera there….so I figure, if it’s good enough for Paris, it’s good enough for Dallas?!

So you’ve got 2 days left to bust out your favorite red pieces…and if you don’t have any on hand, well, we know the easiest place to shop for yourself before the holidays is always Nordstrom! Scoop up a trendy jacket from the Topshop section, pair it with a designer dress from Savvy, then top the whole look off with your favorite designer heel. Instant outfit, instant glam…and as always, Nordy’s to the rescue!

I say this out of curiosity not criticism, because I do enjoy you and your style — but how would you respond to working gals, like me, who can’t exactly afford all the things you wear/own/promote? I clicked through a few things, two at $1000 and one at $300. And these were all different posts. I understand high/low but even that is not always feasible.
