If you have been following along on my other social channels, (AKA Instagram: @TheCourtneyKerr or Snapchat: @KERRently) then you already know that I recently moved! Boy, has it been a LOT of work! I thought I’d open up my doors and let you in for an exclusive peak at my home room by room!
I knew that the first “Apartment Reveal” had to be special….& what is more fun, individualized, & #GOAL worthy than the ever-so popular bar cart?! And honestly, we will find any excuse to pour a cocktail, too!
My adorable pink bar cart is over 20+ years old & was originally purchased at Sears. (Yep, that’s right….that’s not a typo!) After many people told me to pitch it (it was once bronze & not-so-cute, but held sentimental value), I had it repainted & finished! Now, my bar cart is the envy of all my friends!
When it comes to dressing your bar cart, it should be personal. Your cart should hold your most used glassware & liqueurs, while also housing some of your prettier pieces you want on display. I mixed in 2 of my favorite books, trays, & succulents to add dimension & some personal touches! But candles, china, and even some art are other ways to mix it up!
I hope you feel a little inspiration to spruce up your bar cart! I can’t wait to show you more of my apartment over the next month! And since it’s Friday, excuse me while I go pour myself a stiff drink!
